WHAT IS THE JAILBREAK?
The Jailbreak is an off the grid adventure run covering 3-4 miles over 16-20 sandy, wet, fun obstacles.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Change of clothes if you desire. $$ for additional food, beverage and swag.

WHAT ABOUT LODGING IN SPI?

WHO CAN DO THIS RACE?
Anyone over the age of 14. You don’t have to be a highly skilled athlete to participate and will have the option of going around any obstacle you do not feel comfortable doing.

WHAT ELSE WILL BE GOING ON?
A Texas-Sized Beach Party at Claytons, The Largest Beach Bar in Texas!

WHERE WILL JAILBREAK BE HELD ON THE ISLAND?
The event starts and finishes at Clayton’s Beach Bar. South Padre Island, Texas

WHERE DO I PARK?
There will be onsite parking for participants.

WHERE IS PACKET PICK-UP?
Packet pick up will open at 7:30am at Clayton’s Beach Bar. Plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to your wave time.

CAN I SIGN UP AS A TEAM?
Yes, you can sign up as a 4 person team at a discounted rate.

WHAT DO I GET?
Participants receive a medal and a t-shirt.

WHAT ABOUT SAFETY?
Jailbreak Racing Events takes great pride in assuring the safety and integrity of the Jailbreak Race and its participants. Qualified Emergency workers are stationed throughout the race course to insure the safety of everyone. The course design and obstacle engineering is completed with racer safety as the paramount goal.

WHAT ABOUT WEATHER & REFUNDS?
The Jailbreak will be happening rain or shine. Because of the logistics of planning for a race of this size, we cannot offer refunds for any reason, other than military deployment (with proof of paperwork). In the event that weather creates an unsafe environment for participants, Jailbreak Race Events will postpone the event for a few hours or up to a few weeks, if you are unable to run during the new time you will be eligible to transfer your registration to another Jailbreak event but will not be eligible for a refund.
